Bookbinders Type Holder & Various Standard spring typeholders. These type holder book binding tools are supplied in 3 sizes, 2, 3 & 4 inch and will accept type from 8pt to 36pt. (see below for catalogue and price list).
They are cast from gun metal and machined square inside. The steel backplate is bevelled to a fine edge to aid sighting.
Super Rapid bookbinders type holders are self centring and accept type from 10pt to 36pt in 4 inch length only.
The two jaws are centred when the right hand screw is turned to make side spacing unnecessary.
This traditional finishing stove is made from hard wearing stainless steel with three aluminium supports for the cast aluminium castellated ring.
The unit is a thermostatically controlled catering stove which is very hard wearing and designed for continuous use over long periods. A very durable book binding tool.

This leather paring machine is based on a tried and tested design and is simple to set up and operate.
The leather is pulled between the anvil and fixed blade. By raising the anvil thin cuts can be taken until the required thickness is achieved.
It is an invaluable book binding tool for quickly preparing inlays, onlays, labels and any thin leather pieces for repairs.
The machine has a large throat area to accommodate the pared leather when preparing larger pieces for full leather bindings. The anvil can be adjusted to provide a feathered edge if required. Sadly this machine has been discontinued, it is no longer possible to obtain this style of leather paring machine.
